Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings range of $50000 to $75000. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

The Analyst, Finance & Systems will provide day‑to‑day analytical, reporting, and presentation support to the Director of Finance and the Director of Commercial Operations. This role is hands‑on with data—ranging from accurate data entry and report creation/distribution to building executive‑ready PowerPoint materials—and will actively contribute to implementations and enhancements of enterprise tools, including the current Acumatica ERP, combined pricing and sales initiatives (Price 2.0 and Top Sale), and future business intelligence projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Compile data from a variety of sources to analyze issues and providing reports on key business KPIs
  • Deliver accurate and timely commercial finance reports and other business intelligence essential to the commercial organization
  • Lead analytical efforts and development of tools, decision documents, and strategic frameworks
  • Conduct research to uncover key issues, benchmarks, and best practices and synthesize findings into recommendations for optimal business solutions
  • Support development of the annual sales plan (volume/revenue/gross profit) for inclusion in the overall Regional & Corporate Financial Plan
  • Assist management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast including sales to budget variance analysis
  • Support the analysis of pricing and promotional activities to drive effective use of trade spend
  • Provide analytical support to corporate and regional teams as required for supplier reviews, quarterly business reviews, and on-going business performance management
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver timely results to a high standard
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Analytics: Compile, validate, and maintain datasets; deliver KPIs and dashboards using Excel (formulas, PivotTables, charts, graphs).
  • Systems & Projects: Assist with upgrades and rollouts (Acumatica, pricing and sales initiatives, future BI projects); support UAT, documentation, and process mapping.
  • Presentation & Communication: Create professional PowerPoint decks summarizing data and project updates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain SOPs and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Exposure to ERP systems (Acumatica), pricing tools, BI platforms (Power BI/Tableau).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (internships count).
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (formulas, pivots, graphs) and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
