As a Strategic Sourcing Manager within PNC's Supply Chain organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA

PNC is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing leader with a proven ability to lead teams to deliver the best collective business outcomes for PNC, our clients, and our shareholders. The role will initially manage a team of 3-5 Sourcing team members responsible for Sourcing ~$500MM in annual spend across various products and services in support of our revenue generating businesses. This includes areas such as technology, professional services, enterprise data, merchant hardware, and others.


Required Skills:
1. Strategic Sourcing Process (8+ Years Experience. Expert in conducting Market Landscapes, RFIs, RFPs, and other events to optimize supplier selection)
2. Leadership (5+ Years of Management Experience)
3. Strategic Thinking (Negotiation Strategy, Category Strategy, Supplier Strategies, etc.)
4. Contract Negotiation & Redlining (Cost structures, SLAs, Payment Terms, Termination Rights, etc.)
5. Collaboration and Communication including Executive Level Communication
6. Financial Analysis (Total Cost Analysis, Savings Analysis, etc.)
7. Customer Service (Accountability, Follow Through, Responsiveness, etc.)
8. Influence (Ability to obtain buy-in across a diverse group of stakeholders)
9. Process Improvement
10. Use of Procurement Technology (Source to Pay, Contract Lifecycle Management, Etc.)
11. Awareness of Evolving Procurement Technology Landscape
12. Spend Analysis
13. Risk Management

Job Description

• Directs strategies and policies governing the acquisition of goods, services and contracts for the organization.
• Manages the contract coordination and implementation activities. Negotiates price and terms for products and services delivered.
• Analyzes business conditions to determine present and future needs for supplies and materials.
• Supervises team and directs purchasing activities for goods or services.
• Manages a team which performs market analysis to determine vendor sources, manages vendor relationships and evaluates vendor performance.
