In the role of Senior Financial Analyst on the Commercial Accounting team, you will be responsible for supporting all POS activities, the integrated systems housing POS, and leading the processes that integrate POS into the business. You will have regular customer interaction both inside and outside of the organization.

The role is based in Milwaukee, WI and reports to the Commercial Accounting Team Lead.

What You’ll Be Brewing: 

  • End-to end responsibility of the Point of Sale process for MCBC:
  • Month end close activities for related POS Inventory accounts and reserves.
  • Distributor budget management in POS Connect system
  • Month end reporting analyzing trends to aide in forecasting
  • System interface management between Third party warehouse, POS Connect system and SAP
  • Strong collaboration with the POS procurement organization to understand financial implication of various POS programming on behalf of the regional teams
  • Monitoring, analyzing and assessing the impact of the initiatives, proposals and changes to POS activities
  • Analyzing trends to aide in forecasting
  • Assisting with preparation implementation of software and systems related to POS
  • Leading the performance of accounting and reporting requirements for ad-hoc accounting matters
  • Leading and coordinating efforts with other GBS teams and customers to ensure key departmental deliverables are accurate and timely
  • Demonstrating insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools and concepts to help drive business results through fact-based decisions that consider the benefits and consequences of available alternatives.
  • Seeks information from customers/business partners to identify and improve non-value-added practices
  • Other manager assigned duties 

 

Key Ingredients: 

  • A minimum of 4 years of financial analyst experience with 2 years as both associate and intermediate experience preferred; prior public accounting experience preferred
  • Strong analytical ability to conduct research and perform data analysis to deliver business insights and make business recommendations
  • Strong ability to analyze complex transactions and business arrangements to determine the appropriate accounting treatment
  • Demonstrates the initiative to drive change and influence others in support of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • CPA or CMA preferred
