About the role

  1. Lead EAO Processes
    • Work with stakeholders and leadership from across the organization to ensure initiatives are moving from development to execution (through phased framework).
    • Support initiative leads to understand process, business case requirements, and support teams needed to move through framework.
    • Develop and maintain plans, timelines, governance and scope documents for EAO.
  2. Manage EAO Operations
    • Manage the EAO meetings to ensure successful execution.
    • Prepare materials and track action items.
    • Identify and address operational issues to ensure meetings run smoothly and follow-ups are completed.
    • Moderate discussions as needed.
    • Draft and share EAO updates, maintain documentation, and support update preparation.
  3.  Analysis & Reporting
    • Gather and analyze information to identify patterns, gaps, and risks across execution of Enterprise Portfolio of initiatives.
    • Prepare reports and present findings with recommendations.
      • Generate reports for senior level audiences to support successful execution (monitoring and accountability)
    • Monitor resource needs and allocation across initiatives and identify any contention that needs to be resolved to ensure successful execution.
    • Facilitate discussions and engage stakeholders to support resolution.
  4. Accountable for Wave Tool Management
    • Maintain Wave as the central data repository, ensure pipeline hygiene, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure data is complete and available for frequent review (weekly)
    • Monitor initiative progress, flag risks or delays, and work with owners to resolve issues.
    • Develop business requirements and work with IT on upgrades and changes as needed.
    • Provide inputs for financial and other metric reports, upload actual impacts into Wave, and track metrics for initiatives.
    • Identify and address discrepancies or risks in data with initiative owners
  5. Cross Functional Integration & Communication
    • Work directly with cross-departmental team members to complete tasks, facilitate communication, and provide status updates.
    • Work with the project team, HMSA departments and external partners to monitor, collect, communicate, and distribute information.
    • Appropriately identify communication needs and timelines; Communicate analysis, assessments, recommendations and completed work product through professional written and oral reports and presentations.
    • Address communication gaps to ensure alignment on priorities and progress
  6. User Training
    • Create and deliver training materials, host office hours, and support users in effectively engaging in EAO processes and in using Wave.
    • Troubleshoot issues and remove barriers to initiative tracking.
  7. Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.

  1. Bachelor's degree and four years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of reporting processes.
  3. Proficiency in issues identification, data collection, analysis, and interpretation
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide information in a formal presentation setting.
  5. Strong organization and time management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  7. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
