Electrical Engineer - PE - High Voltage Substation Design

Burrow Global is seeking to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer – PE with High Voltage Substation design experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform high voltage substation design, including physical design, protective relaying/control.

Prepare specifications for a 125 MVA Power Transformer, Bus Ducts, Oil Circuit Breakers and HV Disconnect Switches

Provides technical guidance to others regarding projects and disciplines.

Prepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables for Substation project.

Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.

Prepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.

Manages assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignments.

Responsible for serving as the responsible charge.

Actively participate in management, project scheduling, and work/resource planning meetings.

Interface directly with client stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 + years of H.V. Substation design experience.

PE License in Texas is required
