Principal Project Manager (Remote)

We are currently hiring a Principal Project Manager to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved!     

This role is a work from home position and can be performed remotely anywhere in the continental US or in one of our corporate locations in Utah or Arizona.

YOU ARE: A highly driven and detail-oriented Project Manager responsible for leading high-impact, cross-functional technology initiatives across Product, Engineering, and Business teams. You thrive in navigating complexity, managing interdependencies, and driving initiatives to successful outcomes through structured planning and execution. You bring deep experience in both Agile and hybrid project delivery approaches and are passionate about clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: 

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, technology-driven projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget 

• Manage multiple interdependent workstreams and priorities, across stakeholder groups including Engineering, Product, Operations, Compliance, and Finance 

• Establish clear project goals, milestones, and metrics, while managing risks, dependencies, and constraints 

• Drive project governance by facilitating decision-making processes and ensuring alignment with Progressive’s Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) 

• Act as the key liaison between technical and business teams, providing timely and accurate project updates, including status, issues, and risk escalations to senior leadership 

• Implement structured change control processes to manage scope and business-critical changes 

• Collaborate closely with regulatory, security, and compliance teams to ensure project delivery meets internal and external standards 

• Apply project management best practices to drive efficiency, accountability, and transparency in project execution 

• Promote a culture of documentation, retrospectives, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle
