Overview

The Group Experience Manager is responsible for daily operations including sales calls, making client appointments and achieving sales goals. Accountable for soliciting, managing and maintaining Group Experience accounts. Markets and sells family shows, sporting events and concerts.

 

This role will pay a salary of $40,000 to $45,000 plus commissions

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales, marketing and solicitation of new and ongoing Group Ticket business opportunities
  • Promotes Group Experience for selected family shows, sporting events, concerts, events and special event packages
  • Assist in development and implementation all aspects of sales plan for family shows and elected events
  • Achieve/exceed assigned sales goals
  • Works with promoters on group sales plans and budgets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients & tenant teams
  • Assist with development and implementation of revenue and expense budget for Group Experiences Department
  • Track and manage weekly sales and activity reports
  • Responsible for continuing development of Group Experience and creation of new revenue streams for department and venue
  • Interview, select, mentor and evaluate Group Experience interns each semester; partner with HR for postings and offers
  • Active member of the onsite sales and marketing team, aligning objectives and goals to those of the departments and venue
  • Perform variety of event day responsibilities as required Including but not limited to event day premium seating coverage and assistance, dinner packages, client outreach and servicing, assistance with promotional efforts, meet & greet, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in facility management, business management, marketing, business administration or related field/experience.
  • Previous sales experience is strongly desired
  • Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Exemplary customer service & communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under stressful situations
  • Ability to travel as required, provide own transportation
  • Possess or the ability to acquire a valid driver’s license
  • Proficient computer skills in Windows including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends and holidays
