Grade: 180

Salary: $22.68/hour

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for presenting onsite historic interpretive programs that engage and interact with the patrons, and for the planning and implementing of special events, workshops, and ticketed experiences.
  • Recruits, trains, and schedules volunteers, and assist in the daily maintenance of the site.
  • Works with site staff and volunteers to archive and preserve the site’s historic structures, artifacts, grounds, and historically valuable documents

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in History, Archeology, Museum Studies, Archival Science, or related field.
  • At least one (1) year of work experience in museum administration, historic interpretation, special promotions, or an equivalent combination of experience.
  • Must be able to work weekends and occasional holidays.
  • Must have basic computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office.
  • Must possess/maintain valid Driver’s license.
  • Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug and background screen.
