The Graphic Arts & Design lab Assistant will assist the Program Director/Instructor in preparing student to perform the various roles called upon in the fields of graphic design, graphic arts, and related fields including page layout, advertising, video editing, web design, illustration, image editing, and other visual communication technologies.
The Graphic Arts & Design Lab Assistant will assist instructor in maintaining the graphics lab and its computers, assisting in tutoring of students, and in completing special projects for the program, the campus, and the university.
The position is part-time, 10-12 hours/week, primarily in the afternoons and evenings.
Qualifications:
Min. degree required – AS in Graphic Design or related filed.
Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.HTML, CSS, SEO, and WordPress a plus.
