Job Description

The Senior Cybersecurity Architecture Manager is responsible for leading a team of solution architects and engineers. The architecture manager will be responsible for guiding and developing their team in their careers, as well as providing technical leadership. The architecture manager will define an overall vision and strategy for solution architecture within Global Cyber Security.

The architecture manager will also design and implement processes to ensure effective and efficient project engagements with other areas of the business and ensure projects are reviewed in light of McDonald’s security policies and standards.

This role requires a balance of technical and organizational competence, with the ability to lead a team and make strategic technical decisions.

This role will be a part of the Global Cyber Security function and Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering team. The person in this role will work with the Director of Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering collaboration and using individual strengths.
  • Develop and document advanced cybersecurity strategies aligned with industry standard processes and company goals.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to ensure project teams have proper guidance on how to be secure.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze emerging threats and trends, ensuring knowledge stays ahead of attackers.
  • Contribute to planning for the cybersecurity department, managing risks and optimizing defense against evolving threats.

The expected salary range for this role is $149,260 - $190,310

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in a technical role in the cybersecurity field.
  • Strong written communication to create clear and actionable security documents
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work within and outside the team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to analyze complex cybersecurity issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Proficient in planning and risk management to anticipate and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Skilled in implementing effective mitigation strategies to prevent security breaches and minimize damage.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism to maintain the trust and confidence of partners.
  • Experience in implementing cybersecurity measures and protocols to safeguard the organization’s digital assets.
  • Adept at coordinating with various business units to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal communication.
