The Consultation Center is University Settlement’s Article 31 outpatient mental health clinic that has served children, adolescents, adults, and families for over 65-years.
Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, and family therapy including behavior modification, cognitive behavioral, in-sight oriented and supportive therapy to an ethnically and culturally diverse population, ranging in age from 5 years through late adulthood

Conduct pre-admission screenings/intake assessments

Implement case management treatment plans

Provide therapy and assessments in office and using TeleHealth

Maintain reports, administrative and clinical records in accordance with OMH/DOH&MH standards insure requirements and program policies

Responsible for meeting set productivity benchmarks

Facilitate intra/inter agency referrals, as necessary

Advocate for patients with other community-based organizations and governmental agencies, as indicated

Conduct offsite visits as stated by the State Office of Mental Health

Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, training seminars and individual supervisory meetings

Learn and utilize computerized treatment and billing programs

Demonstrated ability to engage new and challenging cases

Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team

Other duties deemed necessary by the Clinical Director pertaining to provision of effective services to patients and/or the community
Qualifications:
-
MSW required
-
LMSW or LCSW certification required
-
Two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Experience with time limited treatment approaches

Experience with treating children preferred

Bilingual skills in English/Mandarin/Cantonese or English/Spanish preferred
Work schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 35 hours per week, Hybrid
