Janitor - Part Time

The Janitor reports to the Lead Janitor/Site Manager or his/her designated representative. The duties of a Janitor include but not limited to:

• Clean all designated spaces, which may include hallways/corridors, stairwells and stairways, restrooms, briefing spaces, public spaces etc.
• Dusting all horizontal surfaces, mop and/or vacuum designated spaces, empty trash, cleaning sinks, toilets, and mirrors in restrooms.
• Provide and meet all cleaning requirements for all areas designated in the contract.
• Required to work any shift and weekends as specified by Contract for the site.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Lead Janitor/Site Manager or his/her designated representative. 

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to sweep, mop, vacuum, clean windows and stairwells.  
• Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flights of stairs is required.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times.
• High School diploma or equivalent.  
• Experience in using MS Office applications to create reports is desired.
• Applicant must be a US citizen and must have and maintain a valid driver license.
• Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain base access for sensitive areas.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
