Our “Roof & Components (RC)” business unit develops and produces roof systems for every type of vehicle and autonomous driving. To achieve this, we rely on the most modern technologies and materials. The Webasto Detroit Plant located at 14200 N Haggerty Road in Plymouth is looking for 2 Senior Supervisors Supply Chain to join the team and lead the teams to great success!

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

 

• First level of support for system incidents and requests. Monitors and reviews the efficiency of implemented processes, methods, and tools. Manage system parameters and engineering changes into the system.
• Plant’s Key User for SAP supply chain processes and tools.
• Perform integration and system acceptance test for new and enhanced processes and system upgrades, data cleansing and master data governance. 
• Use SAP modules production planning (PP), sales and distribution (SD), warehouse management (WM), material management (MM), and SAP business warehouse.
• Utilize Microsoft Analysis or Microsoft Power Business Intelligence to develop demand and capacity D&C management reports, and present reports to upper management and affected functions.
• Responsible to overseeing and coordinate supplier base daily follow up, escalation and minimize transportation and warehousing cost
• Responsible for inventory turnover, maintaining healthy inventory levels financially (cashflow) and on-time supply of raw materials to meet customer requirements, meeting target inventory and service goals, while minimizing costs.
• Responsible for overseeing and managing logistics strategy.
• Leading a team of 3-4 Supply Chain Specialists

 

This is what you bring to us:

 

• University degree; Business studies and first leadership experience
• Must have 5 years’ work experience in each of the following: SAP modules (PP, SD, WM and MM) and SAP Business Warehouse 
• expereince in Microsoft Analysis or Microsoft Power Business Intelligence
• Understand and apply International automotive standards: Materials Management Operations Guidelines (MMOG/LE), VDA 6.3 German Automotive Standard, International Automotive Task Force (IATF / TS16919).
• Understanding of Webasto Production System (WPS) - SCM Dimensions: Customer orientation, supplier integration, lean material flow, supermarket, levelled production and digitalization.
• Understanding of Supply Chain Inbound processes: Supplier scheduling: schedule agreements, spot orders, EDI and Web-EDI processes.
• Goods receipt processes: Special, standard, scanner goods receipt process and transport management system.
• Production scheduling and supply: batch, MES (Execution) Heijunka and line feeding / Mizu.
• Management of inbound and outbound packaging: planning, definition, and maintenance.
• Warehouse Management: years’ end stock taking, cycle counting, stock accuracy and internal processes.
• Dispatch processes: JIT/JIS Calls offs, global shipping processes, ASN via EDI, customer portals: eDDL, Super-G, Covisint, ASN submission, Cum reconciliation.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written as well as ability to manage stress.
