Job Description

Administers and communicates the company's benefits program in regard to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements. Surveys market data in order to determine company’s competitive position in employee benefits. May assist in planning, developing, and redesigning company benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs. Manages vendor relations and contracts. May be involved with communication and implementation of wellness and benefits initiatives. Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Administer company’s time off and leave programs such as disability, workers compensation, vacation, holiday, sick time, parental and personal leaves, federal, state and other company provided leaves 
•    Point of contact for leave and time off programs. Liaison between external leave administrator, payroll team and Solidigm team members as before, throughout the leave period and upon their return to work.
•    Responsible for entry of leave time in company systems and ensure timeliness of entries. Work with vendors to ensure leave documents are received timely, request for accommodations is reviewed and timely determination is made.
•    Develop and review policies and processes, recommend changes to create efficiencies and align with benefit strategies.

•    Work with HRIS, payroll teams and applicable partners to set up time off and leave systems to optimize and automate leave processes as feasible.

•    Participate in the RFP process for employee benefits vendors and partners; evaluate services, quotes and make recommendations.

•    Validate and process monthly vendor payments.

•    Responsible for managing ancillary benefits programs including life and wellbeing programs

•    Continuously monitor program policies, evaluate periodically and provide recommendations as appropriate to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business strategy

•    Work with benefit vendors to ensure they meet contract terms and service level agreements. Serve as a liaison to insurance carriers regarding claim problems, issues, and concerns.
•    Create and maintain overall benefits content on Corporate Intranet, HR shared folder, HR website including plan documents, benefit summaries, benefit policies
•    Ensure plan contracts, agreements, summary plan descriptions and plan documents are current, accurate, and distributed appropriately throughout the year

•    Keep abreast of new and existing regulations and legislative changes to ensure employee benefits programs are administered appropriately

•    Support other projects and programs as assigned
