Job Description

SIXT is growing exponentially in the US and to help build on that momentum, we are in search of a Director of International Business Development to help generate revenue by growing existing partnerships and acquiring new corporate clients. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will create and lead a team focused on identifying and capitalizing on international opportunities within the US, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Caribbean markets.

Key Responsibilities:   

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential international markets for expansion.  

• Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for entering new markets, considering factors such as market size, competition, regulatory environment, and customer demand.  

• Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and successful execution of expansion strategies.  

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the effectiveness of international business development initiatives.  

• Develop pricing strategies and revenue models tailored to international markets, considering local economic conditions and consumer behavior.  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related fields   

• 10+ years’ experience in B2B sales/account management within the travel industry, mobility services sector, automotive industry, or related  

• 10+ year of international business development, preferably within the car rental or travel industry.  

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.  

• Proven success in portfolio growth and successful negotiations   

• Working experience with CRMs systems    

• Functional knowledge of tracking, managing, and presenting KPIs
