Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Tubular Products- Gallatin has an opening for Slitter Lead. The role of the Slitter Lead is to oversee all areas of operations and equipment within the Slitter.  The successful candidate will have demostrated leadership qualities and is responsible for leading safety efforts. They will lead a team that aligns with divisional and product group goals, builds and promotes a team atmosphere between operations and maintenance, communicates with the Production Supervisors and will ensure all jobs exceed our customer requirements, as well as other duties as assigned. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
