Clinical Supervisor - Infusion

• Schedule: Days, 7:30am to 4:30pm, flext time as needed

Responsibilities

 

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor provides leadership and administrative support for departmental functions, working collaboratively with the Unit Director and/or Manager. In their absence, the Clinical Supervisor assumes full administrative responsibility for the assigned unit.

This role is instrumental in developing and implementing departmental plans, including performance improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The Clinical Supervisor oversees staff orientation and training, communicates effectively with team members, physicians, and administration, and is accountable for the quality of care and staff performance during their shift.

 

 

 

ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification and prior oncology experience are highly preferred.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.2.     Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.3.     Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.4.     Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.5.     Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

FACILITY / UNIT TRAINING

 

1.     Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care.2.     Non-OB Facilities – NRP Required 90 days after hire and maintained.3.     Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.75 hour to $49.46 hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
