About the role
Purpose of Position
The Staff Accountant, Corporate Reporting will be a key member of the corporate reporting team and support global consolidation and financial reporting, including intercompany eliminations, financial statements consolidation and reporting, account analysis and reconciliations, and statutory reporting. This position also supports process improvement projects and initiatives.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monthly consolidation and reporting. Prepare intercompany elimination, consolidation journal entries, account reconciliations and consolidated financial statements.
- Quarterly reporting and analysis. Prepare supplemental financial information, analysis and disclosures.
- Annual reporting and compliance. Prepare annual reporting information and checklist.
- Census and other statutory audits and reporting.
- Support process improvement projects and initiatives.
Education
Bachelor's in Accounting or FinanceCertifications and Licenses

- Strong knowledge in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance
- Public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience preferred
- Intermediate or higher level of Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains enterprise accounting software, or similar system preferred
- Strong adaptability, communication, time management, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to details, and effective organizational and problem solving skills
- Team player, takes pride and ownership in work
