About the role
This is a remote position.
Cost Accounting:Analyze and manage costs related to IT operations and projects.
Develop and maintain cost models to support decision-making.
Project Accounting:
Oversee the financial aspects of IT projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs and revenues.
General Accounting:
Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Manage monthly and annual financial close processes.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with project managers to provide financial insights and support.
Present financial reports and analyses to senior management.
ERP System Usage (Preferred):
Utilize SAP or similar ERP systems for accounting processes, if experienced.
Optimize system usage for financial management and reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the IT industry.
Strong expertise in cost and project accounting.
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred but not essential.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
