About the role

Chubb is seeking to hire an AVP, Premium Audit Production Services Manager (PSM) to provide leadership and drive operational excellence across two branch locations and an offshore team. This role will be accountable for sending and receiving audit assignments for all our supported business units (over 75,000 annual audits), in addition to managing the various back-office administrative functions. This role requires a high degree of process and people management skills that drive team execution, producing strong business results and world-class service delivery. The PSM is a member of the North American Operations team and reports to the Vice President of Premium Audit.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize talent, resource capacity management and technology to deliver timely and complete audit assignments to our staff auditors and third-party vendor partners
  • Effectively manage the return of completed audit assignments utilizing streamlined check in and routing procedures that minimize throughput times.
  • Oversight of the Premium Audit Technical Assistant role, in addition to temporary contractors.
  • Effective oversight of all ancillary support functions including but not limited to in-bound phone calls, NTU’s, PA Notifications, Audit Recalls & Worksheet Requests.
  • Identify and execute process improvement initiatives & strategies that drive process reengineering and automation which reduce overall average handling times and facilitate our ability to scale support while keeping expenses in check.
  • Ensure that audit assignments contain all required and applicable data elements, thereby facilitating our ability to accurately audit the risk and meet Regulatory Compliance expectations.
  • Ensure all staff and workflows adhere to and promote Chubb’s Data Security policies and procedures.
  • Differentiation of employee performance, facilitation of employee development, and building an inclusive & motivated team.
  • Collaboration and partnership with leadership in Branches, Underwriting & Processing Centers and Home Office

Skills/Competencies:

  • A strong knowledge and expertise in applicable Chubb systems (FastPat, CUW, WIP, Cognos, PD, WCS, Duck Creek, Customarq, Policy View) is a must
  • Candidates must have at least 8 years of insurance operations and unit management experience, preferably in Premium Audit
  • Strong systems thinking, analytical skills, technical/systems acumen, with high attention to detail
  • Experience with Lean and Agile methodology, a plus
  • Commitment to innovation and possess excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Collaboration Tools – Jira, Confluence, Webex, etc.
  • Ability to convey and communicate complex analytics/concepts simply and clearly
  • Ability to influence business owners through clear and concise communication
  • Ability to solve problems and handle complex details. Uses independent judgment and takes initiative in absence of specific directions
  • Proficiency in operational efficiency and ongoing improvement
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, at least 10 years of experience in a business/similar role
  • Experience with Intelligent Process Automation is a preference
