Walmart is hiring a Manager, Asset Protection! This position will be based onsite in Bentonville, AR with 30 – 40% travel.
Job Description
- Manages the development, compilation, and validation of all reporting, analyses, and output products by ensuring data integrity and validation processes of all activities; directing meetings and conference calls; communicating and escalating potential issues or changes that affect the division; collaborating with cross-functional teams to select the best processes and/or programs required to support strategies; prioritizing processes and programs based on what is most critical to the success of the business, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership; directing the collection and vetting of large volumes of data for projects; and preparing and providing data and results to executives on a regular basis, along with recommendations for opportunity mitigation.
- Handles total loss initiatives by focusing on fixing performance in lowest performing stores; analyzing and integrating trends and patterns to determine the root causes of shrink; evaluating short-term and long-term implications of decisions; ensuring stores meet objectives on improvement projects; and partnering on the execution of improvement programs in the field.
- Assists in evaluating risks and financial impacts of changes in international regulations by identifying businesses to be audited; conducting audits to mitigate company risk; analyzing and synthesizing audit findings to identify, qualify, and quantify company risks and financial impact; utilizing data to develop technical documents and information briefings; and presenting security summaries and recommended courses of action to senior leadership.
- Manages recovery of funds owed to the company for loss incurred as a result of theft or customer debt by managing recovery team functions; analyzing recovery statistics; and reporting results to management.
- Manages relationships with third-party supplier and banking institutions by communicating team goals and customer service expectations; tracking recoveries and customer service quality indexes; recommending new business initiatives and realignment of recovery agencies/firms; investigating payment or fee issues with banking institutions; and reviewing and approving invoices from third-party law firms/agencies or suppliers.
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
