RN, Resident Enrichment Nurse

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center (KCC) team as an RN, Resident Enrichment Nurse. A Day in the Life
As a RN, Resident Enrichment Nurse, you’ll provide direct, hands-on nursing care to residents during enrichment experiences like community outings, swimming, and campus events. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage ventilators and trachs as needed, and ensure the safety, engagement, and quality of life for every resident you serve.
Schedule
20+ hours/week. Flexible days, evenings, and weekends included

How This Position Contributes to Our Mission
• Provide high-quality nursing care during enrichment opportunities
• Manage medications, feeding tubes, ventilators, and other medical interventions
• Partner with residents, families, and care teams to coordinate safe and meaningful experiences
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with federal, state, and facility standards

What We’re Looking For
• Current Kentucky RN license (unencumbered)
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience; pediatrics preferred
• Vent/trach management experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to participate in enrichment activities, including swimming with residents
• Current CPR/BLS certification (we provide if needed)
• Strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and compassion
