Job Description Summary

Join a fast-evolving Radioligand Therapy (RLT) portfolio where strategic marketing plays a critical role in advancing innovation and impact. The Associate Director, RLT Marketing Strategy will lead Non-Personal Promotion (NPP) while contributing to strategy and execution across an in-line product and broader RLT portfolio—translating HCP and consumer insights into clear, actionable plans and media strategies in close partnership with Customer Experience. Reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing Strategy for RLT, this role collaborates closely with cross functional partners, the Integrated Marketing Organization, and platform teams to bring cohesive, insight driven campaigns to life.

This role is based in East Hanover, NJ and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role; please only apply if this location is accessible for you. This position will requires up to 20% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/or international).


 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead promotions/digital channel strategy and execution on the team
  • Plan and execute in a next-generation engagement approach, connecting field and digital tactics
  • Pull through campaign and brand strategy/content in non-personal channels
  • Develop and execute non-personal tactics that cut through the noise and activate HCPs
  • Collaborate with analytics team and customer experience team and use data to guide effective NPP creative development and channel selection
  • Drive new insights through integration of information from customers/patients
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional colleagues, lead work with key agency partners 
  • Partner across highly complex brands to deliver strategic HCP direction to the Marketing Lead
  • Share and embed knowledge on best practices to engage customers and change behavior across the full brand lifecycle and drive behavior change

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; Master of Science, and/or MBA preferred
  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare marketing experience 
  • Proven ability to collaborate, operate, and influence cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills, with experience in the management of agencies
  • Ability to develop and deliver resources/programs/tactics on time, on scope, on budget, with strong financial acumen
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines

Desirable Requirements:

  • US NPP/digital, oncology or specialty marketing experience is strongly preferred

Novartis Compensation Summary:

The salary for this position is expected to range between $152,600 and $283,400 per year.

The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.

Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
