Job Description

The essential function of this position is to assist the Budget Services Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and resource management support and analysis. This includes budgetary/fiscal management of state, county, grant, and trust funded programs; policy development to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability; long-range program and resource planning and support; organization and compilation of aggregation of data from multiple sources; analyzation of data discrepancies for directing corrective actions as needed; grant management, coordination and reporting for compliance purposes. The position works independently under general supervision of the Budget Services Manager, independently developing work methods and sequences.

Education and Training Guidelines

Education – Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, public administration, statistics or a closely related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis.

Experience – Three years of related work experience. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis.

Certification and Special Requirements – Valid Florida State Driver’s License required.
