Task requirements  

There are many opportunities for soldiers within 3 R WELSH, we have locations in Cardiff, Swansea, Pontypridd, and North Wales (Wrexham and Colwyn Bay). We have positions in the following fields for both men and women:

• Rifleman/women.
• Combat Radio Operator.
• Anti-tank Operator.
• Mortarman/woman.
• Assault Pioneers.
• Physical Training instructors.
• Combat Chef.
• Combat Medic.
• Combat Driver.
• Combat Clerk. 

Essential competencies   Depending on the role with depend on the competencies, but we will be able to assist and aid you in the correct qualifications for whichever job you choose. Desirable competencies   Driving Licence. Don't worry if you do not have a licence we can pay for and provide, training and put you through your test.   Selection Process   Telephone interview with the local PSAO/RCMO.
