We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

Job Summary:

Support districtwide outreach and recruitment of prospective students for all Collin College academic and/or workforce programs, including communication efforts and event management. Create, plan, and manage production timelines and processes for Student Enrollment Services related engagements to students, faculty, and staff districtwide. Maintain email templates, branding standards, language consistency, and assure quality control in alignment with the college's editorial style and graphic standards.

Required Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for facilitating communication recruitment efforts to support movement from prospective student to enrolled student.
  • Coordinate and assist with design, implementation, and maintenance of reports for a variety of projects, including managing technology to identifying audiences for communication efforts and reports to monitor data tracking.
  • Attend college/career fairs, and conduct campus tours, and participate in other special events to recruit prospective students to the college.
  • Advise students on the admissions and registration procedures, provide assessment and financial aid information, and other requirements necessary for enrollment.
  • Support college recruitment programs/events in area high schools. Schedule College 101 and Collin College presentations for high school and middle school populations. Make presentations and recruiting visits to provide information to prospective students on options and programs available. Assist in completing admissions applications, financial aid applications, collecting/assessing transcripts, provide assessment and testing, orientation, advising, and registration.
  • Assist with recruiting opportunities with the Texas Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO).
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student ambassadors as assigned.
  • Coordinate ISD and community group tours at all main campus sites throughout the district.
  • Coordinate college information booths/tables at community events, such as the Plano Balloon Festival.
  • Establish working relationships with various personnel at local institutions and organizations to promote the college's academic and/or workforce programs.
  • Travel within the service area to promote college programs or to attend seminars, workshops, meetings, etc.
  • Prepare reports and evaluations of programs implemented to include tracking and follow-up with prospective students.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records (in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), organizational plans and personnel actions.
  • Remain current in knowledge of external communication best practices to collaborate and assist in creating district publications.

  • Must be able to work varied hours to include days, evenings and Saturdays.
