Job Description
THE POSITION:
The Executive Director of Market Access & Patient Services is a highly visible position that requires a subject matter expert that can drive confidence with the partner in all areas of market access, pricing models and reimbursement for a global launch of a novel therapeutic for Alzheimer’s Disease. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the business units to establish and execute the US Market Access Strategy (value strategy, coverage and reimbursement strategy, pricing, contracting and affordability strategy and the integrated dispensing and support services strategy). This includes working cross-functionally within the Commercial Program Team (EVERSANA and Partner) to develop and deliver on the strategic and tactical plan including coordination with the field-based teams responsible for implementing the strategy with key national and regional accounts. This role will also have oversight of defining the support services patients need to initiate and maintain treatment to ensure the best possible chance for a positive outcome.
Each Director of Market Access & Patient Services will be assigned to one or two Commercial Programs and will take their lead from the responsible Chief Commercial Officer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
- Possess a deep understanding of the biopharmaceutical market trends.
- Under the guidance of the Chief Commercial Officer, the Director of Market Access & Patient Services will guide the development of U.S. market access strategy in context of the overall brand and launch strategy
- Act as the central point person to coordinate and direct all activities within the BUs (Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Patient Support Services, Medical Affairs, Value & Evidence, Legal and Compliance) critical to the success of the complete commercialization program
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the product portfolio, pipeline, and competitive products
- Ensure access to product across all customer stakeholders is sufficient to deliver the U.S. brand revenue forecast
- Shape a differentiated value strategy (including pricing and contracting) that anticipates competitive responses, identifies current market trends and maximizes brand growth and profitability
- Comfortable interacting with high senior level executives, regularly present business updates to senior management and to the partner leadership team
- Maintain a high level of awareness of public and private formulary contracti
