Trader/ Senior Trader

Join one of the most vibrant trading teams in the Nordics at Danske Bank. Our Fixed Income department’s NOK trading team is looking for a Trader / Senior Trader for Interest Rate Swaps and Government Bonds. Comprising 5 skilled traders, our team handles Repos, FRAs, IRS, Government-, Investment Grade- and High yield Bonds in NOK. With a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders due to our clients and products, you’ll find daily dynamic interactions and challenges.  

Responsibilities:  

• Engage in proactive risk management and market making
• Generate actionable trade ideas to drive profitability and client satisfaction.  
• Collaborate with Fixed Income Sales for client meetings, ensuring cohesive client strategies and solutions.  

Requirements:  

• Strong drive and creative mindset
• Analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial markets.  
• Keen interest in meeting and exceeding client needs.  
• Experience within Fixed Income is preferred, but risk-taking roles within other asset classes are also relevant
• A degree in economics, finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
