About the role
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
- Assist Operations and Maintenance departments in finding material and parts in the warehouse and storage areas.
- Requisition material and coordinate delivery according to scheduled priorities and material availability.
- Compile and maintain manual or computerized records, such as yard logs, material transfers, available inventory, status and location of materials.
- Analysis of material required to complete projects applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate the inspection, repair, returns, and warranty/replacement of materials, parts and assemblies.
- Computer skills and experience with inventory management required.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions if needed.
- Ability to work overtime and or weekends as needed for plant outages and scheduled planned maintenance.
- Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
- All offers of employment subject to passing of drug/alcohol screening, Background check and or fit test if required.
- Valid Drivers License.
- 5/2 local schedule
