About the role

<p><i><span>We are now looking for </span><span>master</span><span> students</span><span> within energy engineering and management </span></i><i><span>that are interested in doing their thesis project at</span><span> our Environment and Sustainability department at Husqvarna Group! </span></i><br/><br/><span>In October 2023, the European Union introduced the newly updated Energy Efficiency Directive (EED). One of the key additions to this directive mandates that companies consuming more than 23.6 GWh of energy must implement an Energy Management System (EnMS) by October 2027.<br/><br/>This requirement, coupled with Husqvarna's ambitious sustainability targets, lays the groundwork for achieving ISO 50001 certification.</span></p><p></p><p>This thesis project focuses on analyzing Husqvarna’s current energy management in relation to ISO 50001:2018. This involves identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas where processes, documentation, and energy performance indicators can be improved. Based on these insights, you will develop concrete recommendations to help close the gaps and support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Energy Management System.
