POSITION DESCRIPTION: DrinkPAK is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and external upkeep of buildings and surrounding areas of DrinkPAK-leased properties in Southern California. DrinkPAK operates six (6) buildings in the Center at Needham Ranch plus four (4) additional warehouses within a 30-mile radius.

LOCATION: The position is a fully on-site and is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.

REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance & Site Engineering

TYPE: Full Time; Salary / Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate 3rd party contractors associated with equipment installation and upgrades, operational expansions, and DrinkPAK facility maintenance and upkeep
  • Oversee collection, transport, and disposition of multiple recycle streams, including inhouse product destruction
  • Coordinate and supervise 3rd party vendors associated with facility engineering & maintenance
  • Coordinate interactions with local utilities, including wastewater discharge monitoring and reporting
  • Patrol grounds and perform routine inspections of the facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
  • Coordinate with property management companies to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly, including repairs of building damage and other facilities-related problems
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for all buildings and grounds including complying with maintenance requirements in building leases.
  • Develop and implement janitorial and sanitation protocols to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all buildings and facilities
  • Supervise janitorial staff, including scheduling, training and performance management, to ensure efficient and effective execution of duties
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service requests, and invoices
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities and grounds maintenance, including safety requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Field or similar manufacturing/warehouse
  • Effective communication
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Must be proactive
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to effectively manage time.
