Position PurposeCIM Group is a vertically integrated owner, operator, lender, and developer of real assets. We have a legacy of using Yardi as our system of record for accounting and are therefore subject to SOX compliance. CIM Group currently utilizes Yardi 7S modules for commercial and residential property operations, including budgeting and forecasting and other Elevate dashboard and reporting modules. Additionally, we are rolling out Investment Accounting and Performance Manager across the entire CRE portfolio. Our Construction and Development groups are one of the largest implementations of the Yardi construction management and job cost platforms and we continue to expand capabilities in P2P and other areas.
CIM is looking for a Yardi expert who will manage and have full responsibility for the CIM Group Yardi platforms. This includes the introduction of enhancements and changes into the platform related to many different modules assuring they are fully vetted and tested as to not introduce risk to already functioning services. You will also manage a team of technology professionals to facilitate, manage, and document all configurations, customizations, and integrations as well as deliver reports and other enhancements utilizing the internal technical team and outside vendors. This role will work with various business relationship managers within the IT organization to implement, document, test, and support the Yardi applications. The Yardi Product Owner will operate at the enterprise level to optimize delivery practices and processes that align with business objectives. He/she is also responsible for the administration and support of our Yardi system, including evaluating, documenting, and maintaining the system up to date with the latest available plug-ins, controlling user access and permissions, and keeping the system compliant with both internal and external audits. To be successful, the person in this role must be motivated, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented as well as possess the ability to communicate effectively, with excellent people management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide overall product management of business systems overseeing all aspects of Yardi applications
- Serve as the primary contact and owner of a complex Yardi environment with over a thousand users and multiple databases crossing regions
- Manage a team of technology professionals delivering solutions within the Yardi platform including the projects, tasks, and other activities that they are responsible for, assuring that deliverables are completed within project planning timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Yardi and other associated vendors and service providers, overseeing all contracting, consulting, or PSG activities and delivery as they relate to the Yardi platforms
- Own and maintain documentation of Yardi customizations, permissions, and other system configurations for custom menus, reports, integrations, scheduled tasks, and report scheduler events
- Responsible for supporting Yardi projects by directing the configurations, development, implementation, and maintenance of Yardi systems for various groups
- Manages the release process for applications, developing scope and defining backlog items that guide the Agile Yardi delivery team
- Solve product-related problems, and complete trade-off analysis to stay on track toward business deliverable commitments
- Work collaboratively with business relationship managers on projects that include the design, proposal, and justification of solutions and systems applications
- Lead the design and development of delivery projects designed to incorporate key business processes that drive the lending business
- Participate as a technical resource in projects and give valuable input into system configuration and other options to deliver a best-in-class solution
- Mentor and manage junior team members to develop and maintain delivery timelines, documentation standards, and other best practices
- Interface with the application support team and use analytics to implement better processes to reduce support requests
