Senior Software Engineer

<p><span><span>We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Team focusing on in-car Navigation. You will work with best-in-class embedded navigation suppliers. Your responsibility will to setup project deliverables, integrate it, work on the applications for GNSS data processing.</span></span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span><span>Your Role:</span></span></b></p><ul><li><span><span>Develop software solutions from initial concept and requirements development through to production implementation and software life-cycle support</span></span></li><li><span><span>Software issue troubleshooting, problem solving, root cause analysis, etc.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Modify existing software to correct errors, port it to new hardware, or to improve performance and non-functional requirements</span></span></li><li><span><span>Work as a member of a globally distributed team designing and developing automotive user experience solutions for leading car manufacturers</span></span></li><li><span><span>Collaborate with Customer and 3rd party suppliers to deliver the highest quality software product</span></span></li><li><span><span>Work with the team on product development and standardized practices</span></span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span><span>Your Background:</span></span></b></p><ul><li><span><span>Engineering or Master degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science or related</span></span></li><li><span><span>5+ years of experience in C++ or Java/Kotlin development for embedded systems</span></span></li><li><span><span>Very good knowledge of tools for programming micro-controllers and processors</span></span></li><li><span><span>Hands-on experience in test implementation using tools like Google Test or JUnit/Mockito</span></span></li><li><span><span>Experience with agile software development process</span></span></li><li><span><span>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn</span></span></li><li><span><span>Very good English</span><br/><span> </span></span></li></ul><p><span><span>Nice to have:</span></span></p><ul><li><span><span>Automotive software experience</span></span></li><li><span><span>Hands-on experience with Linux kernel, QNX, Android</span></span></li><li><span><span>Hands-on experience in Product / Component development in role like Product Owner</span></span></li><li><span><span>Test Driven Development</span></span></li><li><span><span>Experience with software design methodologies and latest software quality standards</span></span></li><li><span><span>Familiarity with micro-controllers, System-on-a-Chip and ARM processors, peripheral handling (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, etc.), vehicle diagnostics and automotive networks, such as CAN or SOME/IP</span></span></li><li><span><span>Knowledge of Functional Safety, Cybersecurity and SPICE processes</span></span></li><li><span><span>Experience in backlog management</span></span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why join us?</b></p><ul><li><b>You can grow at Aptiv</b>.
