Salary range: $2,653-$3,183 (semi-monthly)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, hourly

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Facilities Operations Supervisor, the Facilities/Parks Maintenance Technician III organizes, coordinates and supervises the daily work activities of the Facilities/Parks Maintenance Technicians in the maintenance and repair of County parks/facilities/assets; responsible for resource management and scheduling in conjunction with the Facilities Operations Supervisor. Perform duties of Facilities/Parks Maintenance Technicians I and II as needed.

(1) Assist in the supervision of Facilities/Parks Maintenance Technicians on a daily basis by organizing and assigning daily work for the asset management of facilities to include scheduling on calendars and work requests. Keeps Facilities Operations Supervisor apprised of performance concerns and provides input for annual performance reviews.
(2) Assist in training Facilities/Parks Maintenance Technicians under the Direction of the Facilities Operations Supervisor. Prepare and develop projects and work schedules, hold team meetings to ensure coordination with staff and the customer base.
(3) Responsible for monitoring all vacation leave, compensatory time and on call to ensure operational readiness.
(4) Compile various reports as requested by the Facilities Operations Supervisor as to the status of all operations to include facilities personnel performance, the status of the facilities/parks assets, department service levels and compliance with the Facilities Maintenance Plan and team calendars.
(5) Ensure Technicians are maintaining accurate records/documentation of inspections/audits.
(6) Oversee Technicians in coordination and management of outside contractors for contract repairs; assist with complex or difficult projects.
(7) Oversee Technicians in obtaining quotes/bids and assist as needed.
(8) Ensure the success of the facilities winter operations to include snow/ice removal to departmental standards.
(9) Oversee the scheduling of preventive maintenance for County facilities/parks equipment to ensure said maintenance is accomplished for operational readiness and safety.
