RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

This position is responsible for ensuring the organization's HR policies are up-to-date, compliant, and effective. The position must delve into complex regulations, analyze data, and craft clear, well-written policies that keep the company running smoothly. This position also works closely with other HR professionals to ensure that all communications are accurate, concise, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. This position reports to the EEO Counsel.

 

TYPICAL TASKS:

 

The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.

 

· Draft, revise, and edit HR policies and procedures, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency with legal requirements.

· Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather input and address concerns during policy development.

· Develop and execute communications strategies and implementation for HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.

· Develop and distribute employee communications materials, such as newsletters, email campaigns, and intranet articles.

· Create and deliver presentations to employees on HR-related topics.

· Manage the organization's social media presence.

· Stay informed on changes in employment laws and regulations.

· Conduct training and education on HR policies and procedures for managers and employees.

· Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

· Work closely with other HR professionals to ensure that all communications are clear, concise, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

· Respond to employee inquiries and concerns about HR-related matters.

· Conduct research and analysis to identify and address emerging HR communication needs.

· Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in HR communications.

· Conduct audits and reviews to identify potential policy violations or areas for improvement.

· Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on interpreting and applying HR policies.

· Stay abreast of current HR trends and best practices through professional development and networking.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

· Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive HR matters.

· Monitor changes in legal regulations and proactively update policies to maintain compliance.

· Conduct audits and reviews to identify potential policy violations or areas for improvement.

· Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on interpreting and applying HR policies.

· Investigate and resolve employee complaints or grievances related to HR policies.

· Stay informed on relevant legal decisions and court rulings that may impact HR practices.

· Prepare reports and presentations to communicate HR policy effectiveness and compliance to senior management.

· Utilize data to evaluate the impact of HR policies on employee engagement, retention, and productivity.

· Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve policy administration.

· Performs related work as assigned.
