POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Campus Experience Specialist is a integral part of the Campus Experience team. The Campus Experience specialist will provide leadership and direction in the following areas: A specific Campus Experience Group(s), Academic year portfolio, a Summer portfolio, and specific Campus Experience service(s) or program(s). The Campus Experience Specialist will create the opportunities (environment, services, team) so the students, faculty, staff, and guests of the University can create moments. EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION: Staff, Full Time (2080 annual hours), Exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
• Campus Experience Group Leadership
• Provide leadership and direction to a designated group or groups of the Campus Experience team
• The recruitment, selection, training, motivating, coaching, and discipleship of group members toward extraordinary effort with a mindset of striving for excellence in all areas of responsibility.
• Establish and maintain group objectives and goals that fit into the bigger picture of the Campus Experience office and the Student Life and Christian ministries division.
• Ensure all group members follow all Campus Experience guidelines and procedures.
• Academic Year Portfolio
• The stewardship and management of an academic year (August – May) portfolio (guests, projects, and events) assigned by the Director of Campus Experience.
• Administer all phases of the project/event including but not limited to:
• Guest (Client) Awareness and service.
• Vendor selection, communication, and relations.
• Resource selection and management.
• Promotion and marketing.
• Recruitment, training, and management of project/event team.
• Budgeting and financial record keeping, analysis, and reporting.
• Analysis of project/event
• Summer Portfolio
• The stewardship and management of a summer (May – July) portfolio (guests, projects, and events) assigned by the Director of Campus Experience
• Administer all phases of projects/events including but not limited to:
• Guest (Client) Awareness and service.
• Contract creating and management.
• Facility selection, reservation, and management.
• Hotel/Resort management (Room Assignments, Keys, Operations).
• Guest (Client) Awareness and service.
• Vendor selection, communication, and relations.
• Resource selection and management.
• Promotion and marketing.
• Recruitment, training, and management of project/event team.
• Budgeting and financial record keeping, analysis, and reporting.
• Analysis of project/event.
• Ensure a positive client (guest) relationship.
• Visit client (guest) once a year at their headquarters with the Director of Campus Experience.
• Ongoing communication (email or phone) with the client (guest)
• Assist with the recruitment, selection, training, motivating, coaching, and discipleship of the Summer Team.
• Campus Experience Service/Program
• Stewardship and management of a Campus Experience service or program as assigned by the Director of Campus Experience.
• Educate, train, and equip Campus Experience team members, students, faculty, staff, and guest to effectively utilize the service or program.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Be an active and positive member of the Campus Experience team, Student Life and Christian Ministries Division and Cedarville University.
• Assist in duties that provide value and benefit to the students, faculty, staff, and guests of Cedarville University.
• Analyzing information and processes as well as identifying ideas and solutions for effective service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree required, with experience in related fields.
• Passionate about team member and team development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
