We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at the Manhattan (MHK) Clinic. This role is ideal for someone passionate about oral healthcare and eager to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting dental care through clinical and administrative tasks. This includes preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Dental Assistant works closely with providers and the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Proficiency in taking and processing dental X-rays
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to follow infection control protocols meticulously
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
