What’s the Role?
Bloomberg’s Global Infrastructure, Data Center & Workplace Sustainability teams manage the performance of our buildings and services in more than 160 locations worldwide including our mission critical datacenters. We support day-to-day maintenance and operations, capital improvements and new data center construction projects. Our group works closely with the Global Real Estate (GRE) and Engineering teams to maintain and deliver state of the art data centers to meet organizational needs. We also work closely with Global Sustainability Office (GSO) and other internal partners to operationalize Bloomberg’s ESG strategy and deliver against enterprise-wide sustainability commitments.
The Program Manager will lead and coordinate special projects and strategic initiatives within the Critical Infrastructure department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of cross-functional programs that support department capital projects, operations, sustainability initiatives, and administrative tasks within our global infrastructure portfolio. The ideal candidate will also provide high-level administrative and operational support to critical infrastructure leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with internal governance standards. The role demands an organized detailed oriented leader with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing the execution of various strategic initiatives across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver products and services within our portfolio. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our key business partners such as Engineering, Security Operations, Global Sustainability, Corporate Technology, and Corporate Finance to align our strategy with their needs to achieve our shared business goals.

Program Management

• Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders particularly across businesses such as Engineering, Data, Corporate Technology, Security Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sustainability alongside our leadership team to align our initiatives and meet our shared program objectives
• Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle, applying the necessary program management discipline to amplify the vision, manage business expectations and help with prioritization and influence tradeoffs conversations
• Develop strategic project plans by defining the project scope with stakeholders and product managers to set clear objectives, curate and oversee timelines, deliverables and interdependencies across multiple teams and product roadmaps
• Oversee and manage program wide risks, interdependencies and cross team collaboration ensuring deliverables are completed
• Act as an escalation point for stakeholders, manage issues, anticipate risks and develop mitigation plans
• Collaborate with organizational leadership to manage change within our business plans
• Manage multiple programs at the same time and be able to shift priorities quickly when required
