What will you be doing?  

Main responsibilities:

·       Shaping and defining the business outcome

·       Delivering the business analysis activities on projects and programmes

·       Integrity and alignment of the proposed and chosen solutions with the business needs

·       Identifying, owning and managing the specific key risks and/or IT controls and Business Protection standards

·       Solving problems and dealing with difficulties in line with policy, process and other guidelines applying technical knowledge and expertise

·       Recommending change based on expert know-how and analysis of the business situation taking account of similar previous problems

·       Supporting project resources by giving advice or by taking on accountability to resolve more complex problems

·       Building and maintaining effective relationships with the project team as well as extended stakeholders – incl. sponsor, business representatives and others (external subject matter experts, suppliers etc.)

 What we’re looking for? 

·       Proven experience in Business Analyst covering all stages of the project lifecycle (min. 3-5 years preferable)

·       Experience of working on large scale assignments in complex environments and multiple stakeholders involved

·       Mentoring/Leading less experienced Business Analyst

·       Knowledge of change management processes along with a willingness to try new ways of working and solutions (fail fast)

·       Good analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills combining with thinking out of box to drive innovations and deliver outcomes

·       Ability to communicate/present to a variety of individuals with and influence business stakeholders whilst facilitating change

· ��     Ability to work at pace with resiliency and comfortable with leading, negotiating and influencing to drive necessary deliverables

·       Experience of working within a Scrum framework/agile practices

·       Proficient in gathering business requirements and challenging them combined with strong discovery skills

·       Detailed knowledge and experience of application of business analysis tools and techniques.

Nice to have

·       Experience in insurance (Personal line) or financial/strongly regulated institutions

·       Pricing knowledge/experience

·       Understanding data mapping/modelling processes

·       Experience of working on data projects and understanding of data flows

·       Understanding of IT Infrastructure, cloud, API’s, databases' etc.

·       Proficient in JIRA/Confluence/Visio

·       Experience in projects related data processing
