What You Will Do:

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our Defense & Security Segment to provide requirements and business process analysis support. The position will work as part of a team responsible for supporting a US Federal Government client in documenting and analyzing requirements, identifying system alternatives, analyzing information, and developing recommendations to assist the client in making a decision on modernizing its HR Management System (HRMS).


 In this role, the Requirements and Business Process Analyst will:

  • Document stakeholder roles and responsibilities

  • Identify and document current business processes

  • Lead interviews with stakeholders to gather business requirements and validate business process information

  • Assess whether business requirements align with system capabilities

  • Synthesize data and information into concise reports and client briefings

  • Support level of effort and cost estimation for systems implementation


What You Will Need:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • THREE (3) or more years of relevant experience


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • THREE (3) or more years of relevant experience gathering requirements

  • Experience working with business owners, product owners, users, and other stakeholders to interpret and convey their business functions and processes, business requirements, priorities, objectives, and constraints

  • Experience developing requirements-related content and documentation

  • Experience performing analyses of alternatives

  • Experience facilitating discussions with diverse groups of stakeholders to obtain actionable insights

  • Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply a variety of solutions to solve them

  • Experience working with government agencies

  • Experience with HR business processes and/or systems (i.e., payroll, benefits, etc.)
