What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns through established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific post orders and security-related procedures.
• Maintain an armed presence while following all applicable post instructions, use of force guidelines, and reporting requirements established for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
