The Opportunity:

THE TEAM

The Store Events team is responsible for a key pillar of Sephora’s experiential retail strategy within the Store Experience and Business Operations organization. Our mission is to create meaningful client and brand experiences in our fleet of over 500+ US stores through national and local experiential event programs that drive brand awareness, store sales, and long-term loyalty.

 

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Store Event Experiences with dotted-line reporting to the Senior Director of Beauty Services. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand's retail presence and will serve as program liaison between Regional Directors, Services, Pro’s and Brand Category and Brand Engagement partners. This role is responsible for end-to-end management of regional brand events strategy planning and execution of store events (60%) and services (40%) initiatives. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support ensuring consistent and exceptional event and service delivery to a team of 8 reports, spread across various locations in the United States. You will collaborate cross-functionally to create immersive and memorable experiences that align with our brand values, engages our customers and addresses regional specific trends, leveraging strong business acumen skills and a robust understanding of beauty retail.

 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Store Event Experiences and other stakeholders to define regional priorities, KPIs, and budgets for beauty services and events.
  • Manage and execute a comprehensive regional events strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and targets, with a focus on enhancing customer engagement, loyalty and supports beauty services initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a team of 8 direct reports, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with brands at the District and Region level to enhance program quality and reach of our events and services goals.
  • Work closely with the Brand Category and Brand Engagement team, Pro and Field Training Managers where needed, to create integrated and streamlined training experiences for brands and store teams that specifically supports beauty services and events.
  • Analyze market trends, brand feedback, and performance metrics to continuously optimize and evolve of our regional program strategy.
  • Work closely with Marketing and internal cross-functional partners creating integrated campaigns to promote Sephora-Led store event experiences 1-2x per quarter, overseeing logistics, staffing, and resources required to ensure flawless experiences for both customers and participants to drive footfall, sales, and brand loyalty.
  • Establish strong relationships with District Managers and store leadership teams in partnership with Regional Brand Events and Services Managers, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events and services across different locations.
  • Collaborate with our Digital Store Experience team to maintain an efficient and effective booking process for events in coordination with Education visits, ensuring a smooth customer journey from booking to event execution for both brands and stores.
  • Monitor and report on the success of beauty services and events, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Retail analytics to monitor and troubleshoot Events reporting dashboard against field results and AIQ.
  • Partner with category Managers & Regional Brand Events Managers to collate and brief-in regional or district event inventory requests monthly to Category Managers and Supply and Demand teams where required.
  • Serve as primary partner for Brand Category and Brand Engagement ensuring synergy between brand programs through the management, review and alignment of shared training, communications, new and existing policies.
