NCRAM is a registered investment advisor managing approximately $38 billion in fixed income assets including high yield bonds, leveraged loans, emerging markets and distressed issues.
Role Description / Responsibilities:
Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management (NCRAM) is looking for a Front-End Developer – Associate level.
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of desktop applications for our in-house business platform. This high-visibility role will be supervised by the System Architect and requires a motivated, responsible individual with a passion for programming and a willingness to learn.
- Develop and maintain C# WPF GUI applications
- Implement provided requirements efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with the system architect and other team members
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required.
- 3+ years of experience in Front-End Development
- Proficiency in C# and WPF technology
- Strong experience in Windows desktop GUI application design
- Expertise with Microsoft Visual Studio
- Familiarity with Infragistics controls
- Solid understanding of SQL Server queries and T-SQL
- Familiarity with Entity Framework
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of SOA and microservices architecture
- Web development skills (websites and web services)
- Knowledge of Blazor and Infragistics Web controls
- Experience with Microsoft Blend
- Experience with Entity Framework Extensions Library
- Familiarity with messaging platforms, particularly Solace
- Experience with Alteryx report development is a plus
- Conceptual understanding of Elastic Stack platform (Elastic Search / Kibana)
