Join us and unleash your full potential as a trailblazer in the world of Technology.Humana is looking for a Senior Technology Leadership Professional who will work with Technology Solutions engineering teams and Business to drive products from requirements gathering to production implementation for Workflow Management (K2) team. The role is responsible to deliver new technology solutions coordinating and building capabilities to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Ensures that production schedules are followed, and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
The Technology Leader responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Managing scope, priorities, and conflicts, resolving challenges and negotiating requests, monitoring and assessing all work in progress including work quality, best practices and methodologies.
- Work with Business on system and functional requirements, influence and driving technical system design to optimize support and ensure solutions meet the business objectives.
- Drive and/or coordinate implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transitioning to the appropriate production support team.
- Build Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and lead deliverables thru various stages of development life cycles: Requirements, development, testing, deployment, release support and coordination, production warranty support and hand-off.
- Analyze proposed solutions and make recommendations to lead to more optimal designs being implemented.
- Define technology standards, roadmaps, modules and tools for departmental use.
- Guide and Mentor team members with new tools and techniques.
The Technology Leader will also focus on developing strong relationships within and across cross-functional delivery teams, organize and direct the implementation of solutions thriving for delivering with highest quality, ahead of schedule and under the budget. You will closely work with developers, DevOps and Architect to build creative solutions to meet Humana goals.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related experience in field
- 8 or more years of technical experience in designing, developing or testing of software applications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across Business and IT teams.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Excellent problem solving and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related experience in field.
- Azure Cloud Experience / Certification
- Agile Experience / Certification
- Demonstrated ability running large scale projects.
- Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight.
