Senior Localization Software Engineer
Alarm.comAbout the role
Senior Localization Software Engineer
As Senior Localization Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to manage and lead a small team to localize the Alarm.com offering for international markets. In this role you will oversee the design and development of tools and processes related to string translation, both by linguists and neural machine translation (NMT) models, and oversee the implementation of C# libraries, tests, and hooks to enable engineering to write localization-friendly code. All of this should be done with an emphasis on robustness and scalability to accommodate our growing international business. This role bridges the non-engineering localization team with the multi-site, multi-domain Engineering teams. Knowledge sharing & communication, long-term planning, coordination, organization, leadership & management, and a strong sense of ownership will be key to succeeding in this job.
