Perricone Farms, a leading premium craft citrus juice supplier located in Beaumont, California. We’re seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team. The QA Supervisor will uphold our standards of product quality excellence. Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Program Development & Management
- Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including FDA, HACCP, and FSMA standards.
- Oversee the development and management of quality programs to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained in good standing with local, state, and federal agencies.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise and mentor quality assurance team members.
- Conduct training needs analyses and coordinate the implementation of specific training and development programs for management, staff, and operators.
Regulatory Compliance & Audits
- Lead internal and external audits to verify adherence to certification standards, regulatory requirements, product, and process specifications.
- Ensure compliance with quality and food safety programs, including HACCP, GMP, and GFSI standards.
Continuous Improvement & Corrective Actions
- Analyze data and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistent application of quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain documentation on quality processes and procedures.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing regulatory and compliance data and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Biology, or related field preferred or High School Diploma / GED required with minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Food Industry.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance within the food industry.
- Knowledge of cGMP, SSOPs, Organic, Non-GMO, HACCP, and GFSI standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding production environment.
- Ability to problem solve independently but escalate when necessary.
- Bilingual would be a plus, but not a requirement.
- Ability to work hours outside of normal business hours, weekends, and holidays.
Environment:
This position will primarily involve working in production areas with limited office time.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
