Your tasks
- Monitor and improve all measurable quality KPIs for current production programs.
- Establish an effective process for warranty analysis, improvement, and communication between the customer, BNA, and the NAFTA Manufacturing Facilities.
- Responsible for driving the Brose Problem Solving Process to increase our problem solving acumen in our manufacturing facilities and business divisions.
- Identify and implement Brose Quality Methods and drive best business practices to improve the product quality and reduce the Balance of Failure Cost.
- Manage NAFTA Top Q process, QORS, and customer-escalated issues.
- Assure timely program reviews (quality gates), flawless launches and quality failure prevention by effective implementation of FMEA and Lessons Learned methods.
- Ensure RFMEAs are supported and completed on all launch products.
- Train and mentor employees in the quality organization.
- Work with the Customer Teams, Quality Staff at BNA and Brose Manufacturing Facilities to close and avoid quality concerns, both internal and external.
- Main interface function to quality method (PFM, safe launch, BBR, Process and Product Audits, etc…) of Brose Group concerning roll-out, execution, evaluation, and lessons learned.
Your Profile
- Bachelor degree in related field
- 8-10 years of experience
- Must have working knowledge of Brose Products sold in the NAFTA Region.
- Must have direct working knowledge of quality methods (BBR, PFM, Safe Launch.
- Must be familiar with core tools of automotive quality (I.e. PPAP, MSA, 8D, etc…)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word), GD&T, and problem solving techniques.
- SAP experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, &/or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures, &/or instructions.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, &/or suppliers.
