Job Description

Now Hiring Professional Shift Supervisor to work in the Sweetwater area! 

 

As a Security Shift Supervisor, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.  

  

Pay Rate: $18.50/ per hour

Location: Sweetwater, FL

Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 6am-2pm; Wednesday and Thursday, 2pm-10pm 

Must have reliable transportation

*Must have (No Exceptions): 

• A Valid Driver’s license 
• Valid Florida Security License D License 
• 1+ Years Security Experience
• Fluent English required.

 

Minimum Requirements:  

• Be at least 21+ years of age
• Must have at least one year Supervisor experience, speak & write English, computer literary, must have a vehicle (There is no public Transportation on the area) and must be physically fit to work the post.  
• Required, ability to use computer or tablet  
• Required, comfortable working outdoors in all elements of the weather for the entire shift  
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time  
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

Responsibilities:  

• securtySupervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site 
• Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support 
• Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property 
• Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees 
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities  
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner  
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter  
• Working environments and conditions may vary by client site  
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines 
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and log in neat, legible handwriting.  
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions 
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites 
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and
