Flight Itinerary
FLYR is seeking a hands-on and strategic VP, Brand & Content Strategy to lead the overall brand experience and content direction across all marketing and brand touchpoints, as well as leading the team for advancing the strategy, experience, voice, campaigns, and capabilities of our brand. This person will drive the global brand and content strategy and be engaged with projects executed by the internal team and global agencies/consultants.


What your journey will look like: (Responsibilities)
Develop and maintain a comprehensive brand strategy to guide strategic decisions involving the brand, including messaging and visual elements• Apply brand across all B2B, B2B2C, and TA employee channels including: digital, social, events, content, demand, and enablement• Liaise with shared services, sales, and proposal teams to ensure content direction is aligned with brand messaging• Develop an organization-wide set of brand guidelines and tools• Act as a strategic advisor/marketing lead in M&A transactions or new product brand introduction• Collaborate with brand and creative teams to help shape narratives/experiences that inspire and influence target audiences
Define content strategy, including key audiences, journeys, and channels. Develop a buyer’s journey approach to content campaign structure and development• Support global brand & GTM strategy with content themes, programs, awareness campaigns, and content aligned to buyer journey• Collaborate with thought leaders, brand, product, and lifecycle marketing• Develop a research agenda and approach• Develop/maintain a content calendar
Manage brand operations, including:• Large-scale transformation of marketing/CommOps teams, aligning/realigning tasks, tools, and processes. Empower accountability• Operationalize M&A brand and integration plans across marketing and comm ops based on product integration strategy • Inform M&A transaction budget and TSA (if required) alignment• Program manage large-scale brand programs (e.x., IPO, brand transformations, etc.)
Manage assets for use in planning and long-term governance

All the qualities of a successful leader in a dynamic, highly matrixed organization: exceptional collaborator, communicator, and manager; results-oriented from a foundation of best practice process; a proactive planner, navigator of competing priorities, and responsive problem solver; skill with numbers (evaluating analytics, managing budgets); and the ability to be a flexible leader, confident in their domain.  • 10+ years in B-2-B-2-C brand marketing• 5+ years in copy and creative direction• At least 3-5 years in leadership/management roles• Proven experience leading change and building consensus in a highly matrixed, global, organizational structure• Has built, implemented, and governed global brand guidelines and content strategy• Developed and executed a digital-first, enterprise-wide, global content management strategy• Previous integration of brands in a merger, acquisition, or new-product growth scenario• Lead a marketing organization through an M&A transaction and IPO• Has developed best practices in brand integration & hierarchy, internal marketing, standards implementation/management, and competitive positioning• Budget/resource management is strongly desirable• Managed agency relationships and internal creative and content resources
