Principal Solution Engineer - Supply Chain Planning

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Solution Engineer (Pre-sales) role at Noodle.ai requires a self-managing, driven, independent individual who will: 

• Be the ‘Swiss-Army Knife’ and partner to the Sales Account Executive during the middle of the sales cycle by leading, assisting in, and/or coordinating: 
• Demonstrations 
• Customer challenge / pain point identification 
• Noodle solution fit / integration / business process 
• AI Readiness Assessments 
• Proof of concepts/Proof of value 
• Benefit Assessments and Business Case Development 
• Proposals, RFx responses 
• Solution Deployment Roadmaps 
• Build rapport with stakeholders at all levels of seniority across customers and prospects by translating the value our market-leading technology will provide by solving their most pressing supply chain planning and operations problems, into our customers’ own language of business value 
• Grow long term relationships with customers, accounts, and co-workers  

This role can be based in any major US metro area.

For our Solution Engineering team, we are seeking “T-shaped” people who are conversant on most of the subject areas below and can go deep in a few: 

• Supply chain planning 
  • Concurrent planning 
  • Advanced planning  
  • Inventory planning 
  • Demand forecasting 
• ERP, APS, & other elements of the supply chain technology stack
• IT Information Security & Risk 
• Data Science & Machine Learning 
• Operations Research, Management Science 
• New technology categories 
• Program & Project Management 
• Presentation Skills, especially using data to tell stories 

ABOUT YOU

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a pre-sales or solution engineering role
• An established track record of success in pre-sales consulting, solution architect roles, and/or relevant operations / supply chain consulting 
• Strong domain knowledge of supply chain planning, including a deep familiarity with APS and ERP systems
• Deep experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, including building a value case and leading product demonstrations for customer stakeholders at all levels across the organization
• A collaborative approach to winning as a team - you foster cross-functional collaboration to support the organization's big goals
• Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to learn
